I am a research student at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
In my previous life I used to be a staff software engineer at National Instruments, R&D, India.
I maintain an "academic" website at http://ssl.serc.iisc.ernet.in/~pramod.
CONTACT
If you are interested in contacting me, the email address you are looking for is my name, with a dot between the two words, at the domain gmail dot com. If you want any other form of contact (snail mail, phone etc) drop me an email, and I will get back to you.
BRIEF BIO
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the R.V College of Engineering affiliated to the Visvesvarya Technological University in June 2006.
Between July 2006 and July 2008, I was employed at National Instruments, R&D, Bangalore where I wrote fast software implementations of communication and signal processing algorithms, instrument control software and played a key role in the design and implementation of software frameworks that were used by NI RF and communication software toolkits. I also designed and implemented a framework for the statistical analysis of measurement uncertainty for use in NI calibration software. The highlight of my stay at NI was my work relating to the use of GPUs for implementing signal processing algorithms and my work on dynamic code generation techniques for high performance, (you guessed it! :-), signal processing algorithms.
I am now a research student at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

THE NON TECHNICAL PART OF ME
I occasionally play football, and enjoy long bicycle rides.
I'm a huge fan of of FC Barcelona! Xavi and Iniesta are one of the finest and most under-rated midfielders in Europe. |
